See What A Young Yoruba Boy Did To President Buhari In Lagos
YOUNG YORUBA BOY SHOCKS BUHARI IN LAGOS (SEE WHAT HE DID THAT MAKES NIGERIANS TALKING)
The personal photographer to President Muhammadu Buhari and the official photographer to the State House, Bayo Omoboriowo, during the president’s visit to Lagos on April 24 for the commissioning of some projects, captured a Yoruba boy who prostrated, as in flat, as he greeted Nigeria’s No. 1 citizen.

Even the Japanese and Chinese are more cultural yet are miles more advanced.
I don’t understand why this.

You are too Japanese to be a Nigerian.
Buhari, who isn’t new to the Yoruba culture of greeting could be seen in the photo below in wild laughter as he amazingly appreciates the little boy.

Buhari’s vice is a Yoruba man, possibly he should be used to the Yoruba culture of greeting.
The Yoruba act of prostrating is also very popular during the traditional wedding, which is an act that is practised even in modern times.
Nice but does he do this to every adult he meets on the streets, classroom, church(if he attends),social gatherings or is it just for dignitaries?

Teach them young.
Respect is highly regarded in the Yorubaland and this goes out to every man intending to marry a Yoruba girl.
The groom and his friends will have to prostrate to the bride’s family, regardless of what they are wearing – be it imported lace or even gold; there is simply no escaping the tradition.
Going through this TL, all I see is comparison and tribalism, cultural differences should not cause us to hate each other. Bowing while greeting an elder doesn’t mean your heart is pure.
